Walton Court

Walton Court is a small working farm in the heart of the welsh countryside.

We farm sheep and cattle and also run a small contracting business baling and wrapping silage and combining. This is very much a working farm.

 

Our pool, which you will pass as you enter Walton Court has an abundance of wildlife.  There are 2 mute swans that visit, moorhens, wild ducks, a kingfisher, woodpeckers and herons.  During the spring the pool is filled with frogspawn.  It is fed by natural springs and the Riddings Brook passes along the perimeter.

Our toilet block is a modern fresh block with 2 showers each for ladies and gentlemen, 2 toilets for the ladies, 1 for the men, 2 urinals.  The ladies and gents both have hot water and 2 warm hand dryers and a hair dryer for the ladies.  The toilet block also contains a microwave and a washing machine.

We are on our own water supply which is fresh, clean and tested annually.  We would ask all guests to use the water sensibly whilst here.  We take recycling very seriously here on our site and have many recycling boxes for all recyclable items.

There are 2 fields on our site, a large one for static caravans with plenty of room for tents and caravans should you feel you want to spread your wings, in this field we keep the grass a little longer, it is cut regularly with a topper.

There is a regular bus service to Kington leading onto Hereford and also a bus to Llandrindod Wells.
