First and foremost we are a working farm in the heart of Mid Wales. We farm sheep and have a contracting business for local farms, baling, wrapping and combining. Secondary to that we have run our family site since the 1960’s.
The green aspect of our caravan site is very important to us, we have spent 10 years working towards our green initiative. In every way possible we try to reduce our footprint on our environment. We are on our own water supply (spring water) tested annually. We have solar panels for our farm and holiday cottage which helps contribute to the supply of energy. We have PYO vegetables, salad and herbs in troughs, pots and hanging baskets.
Our small shop supports local producers and homemade gifts are made here on the farm from recycled materials as much as possible. A selection of eco friendly products and family favourites.
We provide a variety of coloured boxes for our guests to recycle most items efficiently and quickly.
We support local charities, our community shop changes every week and I work in it when it is for our local charities.
We support our local church St. Stephens Church. Old Radnor and also have our toilet block twinned with a toilet in Nepal.
